Our latest 20 valve TT engined car has just completed it's first rolling road session with fantastic results.

This 180bhp TT engined car is running on Emerald engine management and produced just under 200 bhp@wheels (235bhp) running one bar boost.

This Corrado started life as chipped and pulleyed supercharged G60 but the owner was hungry for more power and better fuel consumption! He opted for an extremely low mileage 180bhp engine that we had in stock at the time. Having only covered 8k miles, this engine, complete with ancilliaries and loom was an ideal base for the conversion.

SInce the conversion was completed the car has gained 55bhp at the top end and considerably more in the midrange producing about 100bhp at 2000rpm! Fuel consumption has improved despite the extra power and is returning about 5-7mpg more than the G60.

Other uprated parts supplied by us, used on this vehicle include a custom K&N filter installation and a Hyperboost diverter valve, 17" alloys and full Milltek stainless steel exhaust system.

The next step for this vehicle is to fit a larger front mounted intercooler and an automatically switched water spray system prior to running more boost.

This should see power figures rising to around 220bhp@wheels (260bhp). Not bad for the small turbo engine!!
