This Mini Cooper S must be one of the most sorted new Minis in Cornwall if not the whole of the South West.

The owner of this vehicle has been a customer of ours over many years and has had all of his tuning work untaken by ourselves.

He started the upgrade of the Mini by purchasing a set of BK Racing 299's in 18", fitted with the outstanding Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres. To complement the look and upgrade the handling at the same time he had a set of lowering springs fitted along with adjustable camber/toe rear bushes, adjustable camber/castor front top mounts and an adjustable and uprated rear anti roll bar.

This transfomed the Mini into an amazing handling little car.

He then wanted more power so we fitted a 19% smaller supercharger pulley, a K&N Typhoon induction kit, a Milltek four branch manifold and full stainless system. This was finished off with a trip to Superchips for an engine management upgrade. This saw power figures rising to over 210bhp with an outstanding leap in performance.

After about a year or so of using the car in this form he wanted still more power so the car came into our workshops and the engine came out!

A set of forged pistons were fitted along with a full engine rebuild and some ARP uprated rod bolts for peace of mind. The cylinder head was modified with oversize exhaust valves being fitted and a fantastic porting job was carried out. The head was fitted up with a Newman fast road camshaft and the whole job finished off with a GRS Motorsport top mounted intercooler kit.

The car went off to Superchips once again to have the engine management re-mapped and at just over one bar of boost the car now produces 246bhp and the on road performance is absolutely staggering.
