16/6/09: Pure Motorsport moves into new modern premises.

We have moved into newer premises in Padstow to improve the service that we can offer our customers.
We have invested heavily in new tooling and equipment and now have more storage space to keep more parts in stock.

18/4/08: Clio 172/182 competition parts development.

The development of our bespoke Renault Clio 172/182 parts are progressing well. We are currently developing many Clio parts such as:

Fibreglass and carbon panels including bonnets, doors and tailgate.
Affordable throttle body package including bespoke manifold and carbon airbox with an 8 injector system.
A full kit of aluminium engine pulleys.
Cylinder head modifications and engine development.
Tubular wishbone kit with modified subframe.
Paddle clutch kit.

28/4/07: Great result for Wright at Wiscombe Park

Hillclimb competitor John Wright joins the 46 sec club at Wiscombe Park hillcimb in his Pure Motorpsport prepared Golf GTI. In Saturdays event John finished third in class with some stiff competition coming from Jason Moyles who took first place but in the process joined the few competitors in production classes to get into the 46 second runs.

21/4/07: Instant success for Croft at Brands

In the first round of the Toyo Tyres Thunder Saloons championship Adam Croft enjoyed a class win in his very powerful Peugeot 205 GTI. After extensive development and pre-season testing at Pure Motorsport he had fantastic first race of the season. Yet another sucess for a Pure Motorsport developed Peugeot 205!

Winter testing highlighted the cars bigest downfall... Understeer.
The car was fitted with a Pure Motorsport, race proven, bespoke rose jointed front subframe
assembly, adjustable topmounts & Bilstein coilovers (rebuilt by
Bilstein to pure motorsport spec). Combined with new spring rates this produced a car with razor sharp turn-in & superb
balance.
Croft now lies joint second in the championship.

8/6/06 Pure Motorsport prepared Golf GTI wins twice at Wiscombe.

The Golf GTI of John Wright has won on its first outing at the demanding Wiscombe Park hillclimb. John Wright, a newcomer to Hillclimbing is just one second from the class record after just two events at the hill. Read more about the car in our Projects section.
