King Racing main bearing set for all F1, F2, F3, F4, F7 and F8 engines.
These bearings feature locating tangs that the F4R engine do not have, you will either need to machine your block and caps to suit (we can do this for you) or grind the tangs off the bearings.

EliptiX™ is a newly designed oil slot/oil hole hybrid that improves oil ingress, without affecting the bearing’s surface. The innovative changes to the slot hole prevent a compromised load capacity.
RadiaLock™ is an optimal crush height value obtained from an optimization process that customizes each bearing crush height to its specific performance requirements.
EccentriX™ is an optimized eccentricity value reached through elasto-hydrodynamic analysis and dynamic calculations. Ideal eccentricity must consider a range of parameters, including housing material, rigidity and oval deformation at high RPM. King Racing recognizes such challenges and responded with EccentriX™.
pMax-Black™ tri-metal structure
The intermediate layer of a typical race bearing contains 2-3% tin, with hardness values of 90-95 HV. Within the pMax Black™ intermediate layer, we increased the tin content to 4.5%, making it 22% harder at 115 HV, with a load carrying capacity of 17000 psi.
The overlay of a typical high performance bearing features a leaded alloy that contains 2-3% copper content. The bearing ‘reaches a hardness level of 11-11.5 HV, and a maximum fatigue resistance at 8000-8500 psi.
King’s pMax Black™ overlay is significantly stronger than conventional overlays due to its 5% copper content and an innovative nano-scaled hardening process.
pMaxKote™ is a nano-composite polymer coating. It is applied over the pMax Black™ overlay at the King factory as part of the bearing manufacturing process. It enhances wear resistance without changing the bearing’s original precision wall thickness dimension.
